How old are you?

RE: How old are you?
OK, OK, I wont be 60 for a few months more.

I'm really pissed off at friends of mine my age who seemed to have either given up, or concluded there is nothing new under the sun. Meanwhile, I'm amazed at how little I actually know, and at how many years it has taken me to figure out some of these things that others understood in their 20s and 30s.

It feels to my like every other day I discover another whopper of a Fundy lie that I had assumed to be true all these years.

For every difficult and complicated question there is an answer that is simple, easily understood and wrong." H.L. Mencken

???? - Really? Wow. I have known several people who discovered new hobbies or other activities around that age (give or take about 5 years). Maybe your friends are just hitting the real mid-life crisis period and haven't figured out how to cope yet. Who knows. Of course, this is coming from a 32 year-old, but still...

When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow.
