did anyone else have this phase?
Did anyone else have a phase of needing affection when they left their U? I had it for awhile when I came home and it subsidized but now it's back at full force.
It's not so much verbal but at times it's physical like I need a hug or something. It's just kinda weird..

I think this is fairly normal. But of course there are times when we need comfort and intimacy more than others. It's just more acceptable for children to give and receive such affection, adults I think don't always like to admit they have this need.

I read an article that said that adults who were single should try and get a regular massage or something just so that they have that human contact.

Or as my Jamaican friend would say..."A massage parlour with happy endings". Big Grin (You have to imagine the Jamaican accent as well)

Not that sort of massage. I KNEW someone would think that. Ugh.

Don't you have normal massage places in America? lol... There are a few Asian ones springing up around here. $10 for a 10 minute neck massage, set up in a shopping center. That sort of thing.

*sigh* It's so hard to find good help these days.

Lol I just couldn't resist! Smile There's one right across the street from where I work. I've seen them pull a chair out and do massages out on the sidewalk for free.

Oh, that's it, I'm moving in Tongue lol. I now have two days where all the kids go to child care or school, and I've been quite stressed so I've gotten a couple of massages. A very good, relatively low cost way to spoil yourself a bit.
