http://www.amazon.com/DAulaires-Greek-My...770&sr=1-3 Wooo!!! Been looking for this one for a while. I racked up quite the amount of library fees over this book as a kid.

Also recently purchased this one: http://www.amazon.com/Inside-Aztec-Cotti...017&sr=1-1

I LOVED this book as a kid. When our local library was selling some overstock, I snapped this one up quick. Still love it. The illustrations are so fun.

RE: Any Children's Lit fans?
I just realized how fortunate I was to go to an elementary school where we could read such "controversial" stuff. I looked up that list of the most challenged books in the last x years, and our library carried a lot of those books. Well, OBVIOUSLY not the super adult stuff, but stuff like Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein and stuff like that.

We all have our own inner angry natives and our minds invent a million ways to avoid confronting them directly. But if you just look them in the eye and ask them why they're chasing you with spears you just might learn something about yourself.

I loved Bobsey Twins, Little House series, C.S. Lewis, Babysitters Club, Anne of Green Gables, Where the Red Fern Grows, and any biography I could get my hands on. I think biographies were my favorite.

My kids LOVE the Pseudonymymous Bosch(sp) series. My son will read everything by Rick Rhiordian and Roald Dahl. He's also into Clive Cussler. It's hard to keep enough books around for him to read.

Pay attention people! WifeofBill knows of which she speaks Big Grin - Scorpio
