Teenage Exorcists?

RE: Teenage Exorcists?
Part of the problem in this field is quality control.

Most of us can't really tell when someone is possessed, or when someone's demon has been cast out.

Then, there is NOTHING, really that can guarantee that the cast-out demon will not come back in, invited by the victim him/herself.

Most credible exorcists I know combine their liberation sessions with counseling.

(If someone has been "liberated" from the demon of alcoholism, but does not change his friends and his entrenched routines, the demon will come back in.) Many times there is an "identity" issue as well as self esteem.

It is a little daunting at first to change your diagnosis paradigm from DSM IV to "the demon of smoking." But, for experienced practitioners, it is just as effective. Actually, the liberation route is sometimes a much quicker and definitely cheaper option. with no known side effects, if done well.

On the other hand, labeling every possible evil as caused by a Demon, (the "drifting away from God" demon mentioned above,) is grounds for a serious discussion about personal responsibility: If the Devil made me do it." then where is my responsibility for my acts?

For every difficult and complicated question there is an answer that is simple, easily understood and wrong." H.L. Mencken
