February 29-Leap Day
So, today's February 29, Leap Day. Are you doing anything special to mark the day?

Today is my husband's birthday, so we are celebrating the day. He took the day off work and we plan on eating steak out for dinner. His birthday presents are a 6 pack of different beers, a new backpack, and some slippers he's been wanting from LL Bean. I still need to bake a cake for him. He'll finally be a teenager, so he's looking forward to that.

So now that I know that (because I'm not aware of these things), what do I do?

Happy Birthday to him! Smile

Thanks for the reminder. Today is my cousin's birthday. Now I have to figure out how old she is and wish her a happy birthday of the appropriate number.

Oooh, providing alcohol to a teenager?! You're in trouble! Tongue

My grandma always made veal saltimbocca on Leap Day (because saltimbocca means "leaps in the mouth," get it?), so I carry on the tradition. This is the first time I've had to make it kosher. Using "beef prosciutto" just sounds...wrong, though.

Sophia: No, we also know how to make love and sing opera!
