RE: Firearms
Without walking over to the safe, I'll say my husband and I have two .22 rifles, an AR-15, a .243, a Ruger LCP pistol, an M-9, and a para 1911. I may have missed something.

A gun safe is several hundred dollars we don't wish to spend at this point. Plus the great state of Illinois has a FOID (Firearm Owners ID Card) law, which means we would need to apply to the state, be accepted, get the card, AND THEN be able to bring the guns home from Missouri. We could do it illegally, but it's hard to teach your kids to follow the rules when their parents pick and choose the ones they want to follow. RE: Firearms
We have a small handgun that I couldn't tell you anything about, except that it's locked unloaded out of sight and reach of our children. Also a variety of nerf guns...but I'm guessing those don't really count.

RE: Firearms
I know we have a .45 and a .38 a couple other little handguns, but that's all I can tell you about them. Two are my husband's duty guns. I've used them, and while I'm actually a good shot (lol), I don't know enough about them to tell you details about what type and whatnot.

RE: Firearms
I don't have one currently but I am in the market for a handgun. I am planning to buy a Glock 9mm if I can find one in my price range. If not, I may have to settle for something cheaper.

The prices can be high for used, still, so you may have to shop around a bit. I think a good used Glock is still better than most of the cheap Glock clones. When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow. |

My husband has several guns in the safe. I don't know what they are, but I know how to load them, and I know how to shoot them.
We grew up with guns all over the house, loaded and unloaded. There are pictures of us at Christmas with my dad's guitar and a rifle in the corner. We never messed with either. |
