Your problem, Beth, is that you've forgotten that sin is actually located in particular words, beverages, and locations (movie theaters). Jesus never said anything like "if a man looks on a woman with lust, he has committed adultery already in his heart."

What I am continuously astounded by is the immaturity of these people. Men who are grandfathers, have been through life, yet still act like children in the way they taunt people. You would think that life ought to bring wisdom and a more humble spirit in dealing with people.

When angry fundies come on these boards and on the blog, we often assume they must be very young to be so arrogant, and have such little regard for common courtesy. But they are not all young. Young and old, same arrogance. Same childish insults.
