Please be very careful when offering or accepting rides. We have a missing, assumed dead woman and two confirmed deaths here because they offered or accepted rides.

RE: People on the side of the road
Recently I was in Burger King in Wellington, and there was a homeless man there eating an icecream. Afterwards, he stayed for ages, just sitting, and I bought him a whopper meal (privately). The attendant delivered it to him, and he said no, and then the attendant just threw the meal out. I didn't care he declined it, but I was pretty pissed off that they just threw it in the bin.

Grace means that God does something for me; law means that I do something for God. God has certain holy demands which he places upon me: that is law. Now if law means that God requires something of me for their fulfillment, then deliverance means he no longer requires that from me, but himself provides it.

This is why I never even consider stopping when I drive. I have heard too many stories about people who stop for someone stranded on the side of the road, and end up dead or (at best) bleeding and robbed on the side of the highway.

I feel bad for the stranded person, but I am young and single and will not put myself in what could be a very dangerous situation.

Plus, I probably couldn't do much to help with their car. I could confirm it was actually stranded, and . . . that's about it. Tongue

All shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

When I worked at Chick-fil-a as soon as food crossed to the other side of the counter if it was refused, wrong order, etc, it had to be thrown out. there were no exceptions.

RE: People on the side of the road
When I was in Cali, a guy was standing on a corning with a sign that said "homeless with kids".

It makes my heart hurt because half of me wants to believe him and help and the other half thinks he's a liar.

"Funny, you're the broken one, but I'm the only one who needed saving."
