Presidents' Day
Today is Presidents' Day here in the States so my family decided to celebrate Millard Fillmore, 13th President of the United States. Just how did we celebrate him? With a turkey dinner, of course!

So, which president did you celebrate and how? Big Grin

A steady diet of Hellfire and brimstone will only give you Spiritual gas and indigestion... from Mark Moore as posted on Facebook

RE: Presidents' Day
I went to work.

This was a celebration of Abraham Lincoln who's face is upon the coinage of my salary for today.

RE: Presidents' Day
The only reason I know President's Day is coming is because of the President's Day sales advertisements.
The only reason I know President's Day is here is because there is no traffic on my commute, I realize that as a mark of a federal holiday, then steal a look at my coworker's page-a-day calendar to remember what federal holiday it is.

If a man-o-god delivers a toe-stomping sermon and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

RE: Presidents' Day
My hubby and kids were at home today. They all got new shoes, sneakers for the boys and running shoes for hubby. Hubby thinks it's a minor miracle that me, the only woman in the house, got NO shoes. I asked my Facebook friends to celebrate the holiday by sending me green pictures of dead presidents exactly sized 2.61 x 6.14".

RE: Presidents' Day
I listened to NPR today and learned that the person with the most books about them (save Jesus Christ; pun intended) is Abraham Lincoln - a total of 15,000 books.

Of course, sticker books were also included. Gotta get that publishing count up somehow.

All shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

RE: Presidents' Day
I spent much of the evening after work adjusting throttle tension, needle jet positioning, and atomization mixtures on my vintage bike. Totally exciting President's Day. */end sarcasm
