When at Starbucks, I get the "calm" tea.

My daily routine is one glass of iced black tea with one spoon of sugar. Occasionally, I'll also have a hot buckwheat tea as well.

I bought a can of Peace Tea today and at first sip I swore it had an artificial sweetener in it. This seemed odd to me as the can had "100% natural tea" on it as well as other indications about how natural it was. Very quickly, I glanced at the ingredient list and saw 'sugar'. Kept drinking. It wasn't until the headache came on that I checked the ingredient list again and there it was! Sucralose!
Why anyone would create a product that tries to scream natural while putting in sugar AND an artificial sweetener is beyond me. "ABRAHAM DIED FOR YOUR LOX AND MATZO BALLS!" |
