Jesus already answered that question. He said to give Caesar what is Caesars, and to give God what is God's. Jesus and the Apostles were apolitical to the core, and they taught the church to be that way too. Any politician who says Jesus would agree with him (or her) about anything needs to study the Scriptures, whether he is liberal or conservative.

This is Obama's way of saying Jesus was a communist.
Jesus told us that we are personally responsible to take care of the poor, sick, widowed, orphans. There's a reason it's a personal mandate - love. And accountability. When I give my friend food, money, or any other type of help, I know she is actually in need. The government doesn't show love by giving to every outstretched hand, and the criteria for handouts are flawed or easily fudged. |

Obama promised the American people in Feb 2009 to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. Not only has he not done that but he has actually increased it by 5 trillion!! His new budget is expected to raise the deficit by another 1.3 trillion!!
A trillion here and a trillion there and before long you're talking about some real money! The good news is that Christ died for all of you........not just some of you! |
