RE: Breakfast
You know, there are all these people spending so much time worrying about what they eat, and I feel really sorry for them, cause they're going to feel really stupid one day when they're lying in hospital dying of nothing.
(It's a joke )

I've met people like that. They're like Fundies, but with food. Scary. Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes. Oscar Wilde |

RE: Breakfast
When I was a kid, my best friends' cousins came to stay with her family for a visit. At breakfast time, instead of eating, no joke, they lined up and took a whole assortment of vitamins.

RE: Breakfast
I usually skip breakfast and eat brunch instead. I am not a fan of breakfast foods in general, but when I do eat breakfast I get waffles, or a chicken biscuit, or biscuits n' gravy. I hate eggs, bacon, and the like.

RE: Breakfast
Perry, you reminded me...sometimes we go to Bojangles for chicken biscuits.
When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow. |

I like Bojangles chicken biscuits, but I don't like their other food very much. Hardee's chicken biscuits are good too. |

RE: Breakfast
it's kinda funny. When I DIDN'T eat breakfast other than a mountain dew..I weighed 235 pounds. Eating breakfast has made a huge difference for me.
Granted, running 4-5 miles 4 times a week, drinking tons of water, and not eating a personal pan pizza for dinner every day has a lot to do with it too..but I have lost 60 pounds and kept it off for 7 years. I think a good, sensible breakfast is a major part of the equation.. Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.--Howard Zinn |

RE: Breakfast
As of two weeks ago, my breakfast (and lunch) is an Atkins shake. The Caramel Latte shake isn't too bad.
