RE: The Wiggles cause facebook debate
My sister introduced the Wiggles to me; her kids liked them and she thought mine might. At first, I was uncomfortable with the music. It was too rocky for me! I let the kids listen to it, but felt guilty.

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

My replacement problem was when Steve left Blue's Clues. Joe wasn't quite the man that Steve was....*sigh.

Amen sister. Joe was nice, but he was no Steve! I can't tell you how many hours I spent watching Blues Clues with my toddler or toddlers while nursing a newborn.
Loved Blue and Magenta!

Heresy, I know, but we could only take the Wiggles a little bit at a time. Sorry! But I am Glad Greg is feeling better.

I actually banned Yo Gabba Gabba for a bit. It honestly looks like an acid trip for three year olds. Sorry, but... :/

At the moment my kids seem to like In the Night Garden.

Yo Gabba Gabba is seriously weird! My little one likes it - it's on Netflix - but I like directing her interests elsewhere!

I never heard of "In the Night Garden."

Ok, this doesn't really fit this discussion, cause my kids aren't toddlers anymore, but right now they are all into Dr. Who. Kinda funny, considering how long that show has been around. My eldest is actually taking a class on science fiction writing, featuring Dr. Who. They are also in the new My Little Pony, but I don't want to talk about that.

I thought the same about Yo Gabba Gabba. We watch a lot less preschool tv now that the youngest is in school in the mornings. Can't say I miss that show!

Oh, maybe you don't get "In the night garden" there? I think it's a UK show. Some of the people who worked on it also worked on the telly tubbies. There was a speech therapist heavily involved too. The purpose of the show is to relax the kids and help them feel calm. It's a lovely show. It's aimed at very young kids, though.
