I also think there if a "lost" person was even remotely interested in God, he would watch how that professing Christian would ACT, not what spouts out of his mouth and in my opinion what comes out of your mouth isn't very nice.
If you want people to listen to you, you need to give the same respect and courtesy you expect from them.
You come across as really condescending. All I hear is "I love the lost but they're poor, stupid, crazy people." One of the first things you learn in nursing school is how to build trust with you patient, and do you know how you do that? You remain COMPLETELY unjudgemental. You are taught that it's NOT what you believe, or what you think, it's about THEM. This way, the patient can feel safe to trust you. They are more likely to listen and share things that might be important for their care.
I think you should learn something from nurses.
I think you have some very good ideas here, and I think it would be wonderful for you to take some of your very own advice.
I have said over and over in the forums..... it's not what I say, think or believe that matters, it only matters "what thus saith the Lord." If I "say" something contrary to the Word of God, by all means jump right in and let me know where I'm wrong. It appears right now that you simply don't like my methods/bedside manner, but I've not heard a single word here that the message was wrong. Pls don't kill the messenger!!
You appear to be coming across as very condescending to me and intolerant and not very respectful at all of my opinions.
I was in no way condescending, intolerant, or disrespectful. I would have been had I started name-calling, belittling, and being really abrasive. So you saying I'm being those things is a downright lie. Just becuase you think you're right in you message doesn't mean you should spread it in a hurtful manner.
That's all I have to say about that. I don't argue with people on the internet.
