RE: NH Primary
No one voting for Tim Pawlenty, who also quit, also no one voting for Gary Johnson or Fred Karger, who as far as I know are both still in the race, and I have no idea if that Thaddeus dude is still running, but I don't see any votes for him either.

RE: NH Primary
I love that the vote totals for many of these places is under 100 total votes. I can't tell what exactly those areas are. I think they are too small to be counties and too large to be precincts. Could be wrong on either, but It's just cool to see how much influence so few people have.

Those are the low-population areas, mostly in the north country, where you have one little hamlet in the middle of nowhere so technically the precinct covers a fairly large geographic area. It's kind of funny. I think the smallest precinct is Dixville Notch with around 12 voter. The tradition is that they always vote at midnight of the night before so as to be the first precinct reporting. http://bluecollarjesus.net "You are now DR.redbeardiam." - Presbygirl Proud recipient of "the blessedhopebaptist badge of bitterness" |

RE: NH Primary
I'm very familiar with Dixville Notch. One of the places I want to get to before I die. I'm sure there's nothing to do there but to say you've been. I think it's all just 1 family of 10 to 12 voting eligible people, right?

I think everybody who votes probably lives on the property there. http://bluecollarjesus.net "You are now DR.redbeardiam." - Presbygirl Proud recipient of "the blessedhopebaptist badge of bitterness" |

My wife's cousin, from NH, always stated he would not vote for a candidate he hadn't shaken his hand personally. A saner system of primaries would be to have primaries in order of increasing size. This way what starts as a battle of ideas does not have to be as influenced by money as it is today. I doubt we will ever change this system. For every difficult and complicated question there is an answer that is simple, easily understood and wrong." H.L. Mencken |

RE: NH Primary
Three words: Ron Freakin' Paul.
Romney is a corporate sell out, flip flopping on many issues. He's Goldman Sach's conservative political robot, the liberal robot being Obama. I don't want him as President of this country. "Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does." |
