Christ took away the sins of the world and yet, there are people who die in their unbelief. How could you explain that? I believe that since the cross has been introduced to the world, the Kingdom of God is being brought about, and a day will come where "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the world." Has Christ taken away the sins of the world? "Already.. not yet!"

I don’t have a lot of time right now, but here is the short answer…

The fact of the matter is that sin has been a dead issue for a long, long time!

“ To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Cor 5:19

When Jesus died, He took away all of the sins of the world. He didn't just deal with the sin of those who believed in Him, He died for everyone. He “became sin” so that we would have the opportunity to “become the righteousness of God”. It isn't sin that keeps us from God, it's our unwillingness to submit to His authority. When we submit to God, He sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and immediately give us eternal life. Only those who submit to God and accept the salvation that He offers will receive eternal life. What do those who don't submit get? Hell.

"It is finished” (John 19:30)

If you're recommending it, it's worth a look! [/quote]

You don't( hehehehe)....Your posts are even-keel, so it was worth a look. Smile Seriously, I took a look at it and it appears to be pretty good stuff. If at first you feel uncomfortable with someone's doctrine because there is no pressure, it's worthing looking deeper into.

Having a 'How 'bout them Cincinnati Reds?' day...and waiting for the other shoe drop...
