RE: Coffee
I like frenzy inducing coffee, but sometimes I overdo it and get the shakes.

I also become very very talkative.

My boyfriend is scared of me then.

Wine makes me more talkative, but coffee doesn't. Hmmmm...

When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow.

Coffee does this to me, too!

It also can be very bad for my stomach (..won't get into the details...).

I do like iced coffee (preferably hazelnut). I also enjoy good chai tea (with milk and sugar, of course).

RE: Coffee
I prefer a locally roasted coffee from The Mill in Lincoln, Nebraska. Even better...I get it for free. If not that, there are a few other local roasters that are very good.

For iced coffee, I only like it if it is cold pressed--not hot coffee poured over ice which is then more properly called "lukewarm" coffee than "iced" coffee in terms of temperature. My sister-in-law makes divine iced coffee with milk and flavored syrup.

Flavored creamers are of the devil. If you like flavor in your coffee, buy flavor roasted or buy a bottle of Monin syrup and add a tiny bit with your cream. Much better flavor quality. I converted my mother from flavored creamers to this last year and now she won't touch them!

RE: Coffee
On the low end of the scale...office coffee. I drink it because it's free not because I enjoy it.

People at work look at me funny because I make my french press coffee at the counter right in front of the office coffee pot. Even when I run out of my own stuff, I can't drink the stuff from the break room.
