I don't know the context of the suit pic or the Mickey pic.

Speech 101 covers dressing for the occasion and the audience.

I'm not defending Driscol, per se. He says a bunch of stuff I disagree with. But I "get" that he's trying to connect in a way that goes beyond appearance. "I don't have to wear a suit to share the Gospel." I'm realizing the problem is that he's the type of guy where you can't not notice his apparel.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure (I hope, at least) none of us think that the way he dresses is Wrong (in a capital W, fundy sense). I may think his clothes are a little tacky, but that's about it. :-)

I think I found out why he wears a Micky shirt...it's the Disneyfication of Patriarchy and Fundyism!
