Grace for the Good Girl
Starting in January, Presbygirl and I are reading Grace for the Good Girl.

We'll be having a book discussion on it in the women's forum. If you've read the book, please join us, and if you haven't read it but have been wanting to, join us in the women's forum.

If you don't yet have access to the women's forum, maybe because you're new, bug Darrell to add you (that is, if he knows you're a legitimate poster!) We'd love to have a lively discussion on it.

It's interesting that a few years ago, I did a ladies' Bible study at church on Liz Curtis Higg's book Bad Girls of the Bible and now I'm studying one about Good Girls!

I'd definitely say that my entire childhood and young womanhood that I was a good girl. As I've gotten older, I've gotten less concerned with putting on a mask of perfection, but I've still been performance driven, secretly ashamed of not measuring up, and struggling with the idea of God's grace. So I'm looking forward to reading the book. Join us if you like!

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.
