Went to Five Guys this fall. Very good I must say. WAY too much food. The fries are very heavy and I would honestly say the average person could split an order of fries with the person they are eating with. We ordered the regular burger and medium fries, it was way too much.

I stick with a little burger (single) and we split a large fries between the 4 of us. I love the simplicity of their menu.

No Culver's here but they have some crazy good food. Haven't tried Five Guys, but there is a new one in the area. Love the avocado or bonzai burger at Red Robin, but don't get to go there often as its over stimulating to my little guy. Burger King Whopper with just cheese mayo and onion with a side of fries...was the only thing I could eat in the early stage of one of my pregnancies! Crazy...but true!

Culver's is really good around here as is A&W. We had a Sonic, for all of 6 months. Closed because A) I don't think the franchise counted on WI winters and B) the food sucked cat farts.

Five Guys recently came to the So California area...Wow. They are pricier than In-n-Out, but better (and I am a fan of In-n-Out). In-n-Out uses fresh meat, never frozen, but their patties are preformed and thin. Five Guys burgers appear to be hand formed and thicker, and also never frozen. They also offer a large list of free burger add-ons (mushrooms, onions, steak sauce, jalapenos, etc).

They have bacon too *swoon*.

Five Guys fries are also made fresh, plus they offer in-the-shell peanuts gratis.

Can't wait to go back for more. Too bad there are none in my town yet.

The ONLY chain mentioned in this thread that I recognise was Burger King, and here they're called Hungry Jacks. Don't know why.

Actually there used to be a store you could go to here where they would cook the meat for the burger when you ordered it, and then you were allowed to put your own salads on it. That was awesome. I used to eat their bacon and egg burger. LOVE bacon and egg. But they closed down years ago :'(
