I got a scented candle and a cheap candle holder from my SIL and a crappy $2 light up angel from Walgreens from my MIL. I'm in a funk.

I got money, a gift card to American Eagle and Target, sweet smelling girly bath things, a pink+bling tote from Victoria's Secret, and my favorites:

   

I've been drooling over these for a while! They give me an excuse to buy new gym clothes so I can be all matchy-matchy.

I got a new computer tower... badly needed it, too! My hubby bought me the complete run of "Birds of Prey" and the Captain America movie. My local Bro and SIL got me a new travel cup, a pair of earrings and a new behind-the-head headset. My BIL from Hong Kong gave the family 16 Tintin books, and we gave the kids the first season of Matt Smith's Doctor Who, which, of course, I will enjoy as well.

I got an overpriced pair of socks and cheap nasty hand lotion from my SiL. And that was an improvement over what she gave me last year (filthy--as in soiled--used books).

From my husband I got exactly what I asked for: a box of FL grapefruit, a Christmas floral arrangement, a new lens and a new flash for the Canon, and a bunch of CRAP from my MIL. If she had just gotten the one thing I asked her for I'd have been more than happy. But noooooooo... A box of junk catalog CRAP.

And I LOVE the Matthews jersey! Add another proud cheesehead to the list!!!!

Miranda, Vikings fan here but don't hate...we can only manage to win 3 games this year. We've had our good years and this is NOT one of them.

EDIT: zeusTHEgoose, that MLP calendar is adorable, but every time I see all this new MLP stuff, I feel so old! That's not how My Little Ponies looked back when I was a kid, in the good ol' late '80s/early '90s!

Yeah, my two older sisters say the same thing (they were early 90s kids whilst I'm more of a mid-late 90s kid). I really like the writing of the G4 ponies show, it's very entertaining and witty. Oh, and I'm a Chargers fan. Not like they're gonna do anything spectacular this season though
