RE: Stevie Has a New Site
He's the type of person that you wonder why God doesn't let him get run over by a freight train (that list also includes Harold Camping). Then you realize that thinking demonstrates why God is God and you're not.

RE: Stevie Has a New Site
I can't stand this guy.
Other than the reasons mentioned, my biggest issue is that he doesn't even understand the absolute basics about any kind of systematic theology. Not that he has to choose one and run with it, but his "exposes" of Dispensationalism, Calvinism, and whateverelseism are so full of misunderstanding, it's almost hilarious if it weren't so sad. For example, he hates dispensationalism. But he doesn't even know he is one. He goes on about seperation of Church and Israel (the main mark of dispensationalism!). He talks about the rapture. He is post trib, but he bases this interpretation on one verse only in Matthew. He constantly preaches against men like Ruckman (who has some insane theories, but I can't imagine why he would feel the need to preach against him since he is no threat)... can you imagine a proper pastor spending 50 minutes preaching against another pastor who has a congregation of 200 people and lives over 2000 miles away? And that most people have never heard of? It's ridiculous. He may as well be preaching about the dangers that lurk on the dark side of the moon. OH, and in every one of his videos, there is this insane woman cackling. I don't get that. |

Jess, I am impressed with how you keep up with all the lunatics! This new site is so much, well, (Ohhh it hurts to say this) "professional" than his last. Thanks for all the good leg work! Having a 'How 'bout them Cincinnati Reds?' day...and waiting for the other shoe drop... |
