Um...wow...trying really hard to not be majorly snarky...nope...must...be...snarky...ARGHHGHGHGHGHG!!!

What is this show trying to do? I'm kind of confused as to the premise...are they going to be promoting saving sex for marriage or are they documenting people who are still virgins at later ages than what is considered to be standard according to research?

I watched about 20 seconds and most of it was Ellen talking. I find that embarrassing and humiliating. I'm all for keeping your virginity, but geez people...you aren't going to commit a mortal sin by kissing someone! Personally, I would NEVER advise someone to wait until their wedding to kiss. That video was reason enough...how mortifying!

It reminds me of the fundy idea that people are mostly sex-maniacs who need marriage to keep them from pillaging and raping everyone else. Sex in this culture is way over-hyped while at the same time being wrapped in shame. One is supposed to go from super-chastity to super-horny like someone flipping a switch and it does not really work that way.

That little clip made me think of all that because they look like they are forcing that sexual spark by trying way too hard.

I would assume they are extreme Christians of some sort, Fundy or otherwise. But have they never even seen a movie kiss or something? Enough to know you shouldn't chew someone's face off????

And the whole idea of first kiss at the wedding with an audience...no, some things are more special if they are private.

How about the concept of what goes on between a couple before marriage is no one's freakin business except their's and God's? I don't need to know and I don't want to know.
