RE: Christmas Songs...love or hate any?
Christmas Shoes - puke puke puke - We had a man in our church who sang that and people were stupid enough to say amen. blech

I sang this song last year with a slide show (not this one).

Love Amy Grant's Home for Christmas album, the Casting Crowns Christmas album, and we always play the Carpenter's Christmas cd. Smile

"Good King Wenceslas." Just kidding - no one knows that song.

RE: Christmas Songs...love or hate any?
Good King Wenceslas looked out
On the feast of Steven
Where the snow lay round about,
Deep and crisp and even.
Brightly shone the moon that night,
Though the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight
Gathering winter fu-u-el.

That was by memory, not cut and paste! Smile

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

I can play a very simple version of Good King Wenceslas on the piano. In fact, it was one of the first songs I ever learned to play on the piano.

A few years ago, I heard this song on the radio. First I couldn't believe what I was hearing; then I started laughing hysterically.

It's hard to find on youtube. This video has the right soundtrack; just ignore the boring video that a guy put to the song:

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

I have the Let It Snow, Let it Reindeer. Didn't know they had another one...

I looked up the track titles and it looks like Let it Snow has all the songs from Deck the Halls plus 6 other ones.

I like Mary's Boy Child / Oh My Lord by Boney M. The Restroom Door Said "Gentlemen" by Bob Rivers always makes me smile.
