Evolving in Monkey Town
I reviewed Rachel Held Evans's book on my blog, but I wanted to know if anyone else here had read it. I find this book to be especially pertinent and appropriate for those of us who have left Fundyism behind. I appreciated her style of writing and was glad to have read a book where the author is not afraid to ask the hard questions.
"The phoenix hope, can wing her way through desert skies, and still defying fortune's spite; revive from ashes and rise." Cervantes |

Loved the book! Couldn't put it down once I started it. (I also love her blog.)

RE: Evolving in Monkey Town
I did like parts of it. I just wished she would have gone into more detail on why she is not longer a fundie. I plan to give it to my niece who is still in fundieland.
