New Life Verse!--well, an addition anyway

Wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the facebook thread. I posted to facebook:

Checked at the grocery and they were out of oxen and sheep, so we stocked up on what we could find. Good verse.

Then I commented:

My favorite part of this is that it was what they were supposed to do with the tithe! And they were supposed to share it with the Levites (their preachers?). Perfect!

My fundy friend commented:
So how did that work, because I thought the Levites had to avoid strong drink?

For those who want an even more obscure life verse, there's always Ezekiel 23:20: "There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses."
