If there were any candidate I thought didn't shill for the big banks, I'd vote for him. If he weren't Crazy Uncle Ron, that is.

I certainly know less about Scientology than I do about Mormonism, but from what I do know, Scientology seems downright respectable when compared with Mormonism.

There has been talk around here lately about the devil and if he is real (I know he is real) Mormonism is a spawn of this wicked one.

Yeah, Romney might have some goofy religious beliefs but I don't think he'd spend tax dollars on finding physical evidence of Lamanites in North America.. or elephants.. etc

Or setting up a NASA expedition to find the planet Kolob.

And yet some Christians who would have a problem with this (and rightfully so, in my opinion) would have no problem with a Christian candidate spending tax dollars on "scientific" studies to "prove" that the earth was created in six days, 6000 years ago. Somehow, I don't see that much difference between these scenarios.
