Was reading your post (again) and thought of how funny the concept of a non-liturgical Baptist Church actually is. A friend of mine on another board is an Anglican minister who grew up PCC/BJU type Baptist, and is a son of a preacher-man. He said that for all his life, he has NEVER seen a Baptist Church that violated it's own liturgy.

All liturgy means is an order of corporate worship. I think just about any church has one - whether it honors a calendar year, or maintains a traditional order of a service, order of types of hymns to sing, etc.

The Ark was built by a lone amateur, and the Titanic was built by an impressive group of professionals.
