What thread? What topic?

While we're on the topic of thread, does anyone actually sew anymore?

Anyone here familiar with points ignition? I've got one cylinder that doesn't like to spark every time but the coils are new.

The most important thing with points is the gap. The gap, if too open will miss the arc, if too closed will shunt the arc keeping the fire from transferring from the coil to the spark plug. Just can't figure it out. The new points kit should have the condenser unit so maybe that should fix the problem. My gap was set perfect but the left cylinder only sparks great when I remove the right plug wire from the plug.(07-17-2012 10:48 AM)exOBCstudent Wrote: Do you mean bad COIL wire?
