How long does it take for a thread to go off topic?
I haven't done a review of SFL or other forums I belong to, but how many posts does it take for the topic to be officially off-topic fromt eh original post? At SFL, does it matter which category it's in (Inane Chat vs. Political vs. Theology) or is there a poster who routinely leads a thread astray (be nice if naming names, please)?

Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes. Oscar Wilde

So, things are slow at work right now. I guess that's good, though. It's not stressful, and I go home relaxed. I like being able to go home, hold the baby, help out with supper, tease our exchange student about all the boys who like her, etc.

So what do you do for Halloween?

If we're talking about naming names, can I mentioned Firefly? I really liked that show when it was on and I'm glad to see that it's on Netflix. I really liked the movie too.

(I derailed this thread in the first comment. Yay, me!)

EDIT: Oh, man, JoeR! You and I were thinking the same thing, only you got there first!!

So, PW, how have things been for you? I have read your posts over the last several months, and hope things are going well with your family and church situation. How are community outreaches going?

Pretty well. There are ups and downs, but God used a couple of things that really encouraged my heart to "keep on keeping on" (to use a favorite fundy phrase!) My husband is looking for a job though to help pay the bills!

Where is your exchange student from?

She is from Germany. Great kid. I tell her that we got the only German with a sense of humor.

See the Funnybot episode from South Park, if you dare. We showed it to her. She thought it was funny.
