I like it.

You'll just have to learn to deal.

RE: Opera Music
My mom (my real one, not my step mom) was actually going to take me to an opera last year, but we got snowed out.

I like opera, as well as art, fashion, and pink shirts. All the stuff fundy preachers called you "feminine" and "queer" for liking if you were a guy Big Grin

I like opera a lot but suffer from lack of exposure to it. A friend who sat on my thesis committee is working through Wagner's Ring with me, and it is awesome.

Yup. Me too. Well, some of it. I don't like listening to women who sound like a choking chicken.

Please let's not have any choking... naaah, I won't do it... I just won't do it.... I'll just put that joke down and back away slowly and no one will get hurt...

RE: Opera Music
I naturally liked and listened to a lot of opera, but Fundyland's insistence that this is the only accepted secular genre took that desire away from me. What can I do to regain it?

RE: Opera Music
I don't mind watching it but I'm not a big fan of just 'listening'. I need the singers and the stage and the whole production.

you, the mirror of my life renewed,
let me find my life in you.~St. Augustine
