Fundies may lean toward Luddism, but they do love them some Facebook. Use this thread for stories or screenshots of Fundy Facebook activity (do all involved a favor and block out faces and names).

I'll start off with this little gem.

Rolleyes

Some people get cool hallucinations that tell them to kill people. Mine just try to get me into trouble.

This guys wall is open. I really have no issue with talking openly about this guy anymore. He abused his wife spiritually, although I don't doubt physically as well, who left him (she took the kid with her too). She has returned several times to him, and left again. I spoke to him once about it. He was complaining that his wife always wanted to do things like "play a board game" instead of filming him preach. I've tried to help him, showed him grace. Biblically, I think the only thing left to do is separate from him.

He pretends the above never happened.

He is an Independent Fundamental Baptist that has been turned onto Calvinism from all the sermons he listens to. This has made him extremely hateful, judgmental and he believes God hates most people (his website is Godkillspeople.com).
(disclaimer - not all calvinists are like this, but I do believe that Sean here takes the theology to it's logical extreme conclusion)
Here is a sample from his page:

I kinda wondered what happened to his wife. You wanna know what's creepy? At one time, he was thinking of me as a possible candidate for someone to marry. Thankfully, I was already engaged to my husband, so someone was able to tell him I was taken before he ever approached me online! (I heard about this conversation through a friend who was in the chat where my name was mentioned)

Here's another wacko whose wall is open.

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1...93&sk=wall

He posts gems like:

"If it takes 10 beers for a man to be drunk and he has two beers, he is 1/5th drunk!"

Someone should say back to him, that if it takes 10 sandwiches to be a glutton, then if he eats 2 sandwiches, he is 1/5 glutton! Tongue

This is the same guy that made the video "tools for the Christian woman"... he's a jerk.

Probably very true! I bet he would also do well on some blood pressure medication.

RE: Fundybook
James Preacher - is that the same James in the "tools for married woman video"? Looks like him.
