Beer.
All right, my fellow liberated fundies. What's your favorite beer?

I'm always looking for something new to try. I have a special place in my heart for a good IPA.

My favorite beers would include the following (non-exhaustive)...
Baxter's Brewing Pamola Extra Pale Ale
Smuttynose Brewing (I've never had a bad beer from them.)
Arrogant Bastard Ale
Long Trail Double Bag
that's for starters.

Regionals are good. If you start talking about Bud Light... you have a right to your opionion but beer lovers everywhere have a not to fellowship with you.

RE: Beer.
No beer tonight guys. Just a hot toddy made with Jack Daniel's Tennesee Honey. It's chilly tonight. We'll get to the beer tomorrow when the weather warms up a bit.

RE: Beer.
Busch light.
<I'm kidding a little>
Leinenkugel's honey weiss is the best. At about 10 bucks for a 6 pack, it's a little steep. I can get a 12 for 10 bucks of Busch light...
After a week of teaching middle school, ANY beer tastes amazing Friday night!!!

That's what heavy stouts and seasonal ales are for Smile

I've tried. It's hard to "drink" loaves of bread! Black and Tans used to go down easy but something happened and I just can't anymore.

If it's a stout, it should be a Russian Imperial. Victory Storm King or, if you can get it, Smuttynose. The best ones are about 10% abv. Wink

Also, bourbon. Maker's Mark if I have the extra dough to indulge. Straight up. Nothing quite like it. Although a bit of moonshine hits the spot sometimes as well.

RE: Beer.
Innis and Gunn (Scottish cask-aged beer)

La Fin du Monde (Canadian triple fermented)

And the classic Irish beers - Kilkenny and Guinness

I am always open to try new brews.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

RE: Beer.
I wish, I wish, I wish I liked beer! My husband loves to try beers from all over and I've always given them a try but I hate it! I just tried a beer tonight and it always tastes like unsweetened black tea that sat out all night, with carbonation.

All of the freedom I now have and I hate beer...so sad Sad

I CAN stand Newcastle. It's the closest I've ever come to even finishing a bottle ( I was able to drink 3/4 of the bottle). Normally, I can't even finish half of a bottle of beer.

And please, all you connoisseurs don't give me a big list of beers to try. I've tried way too many. I know I don't like beer. *tear.

RE: Beer.
Ditto on La Fin Du Monde. Any beer named after the end of the world gets props on that basis alone... Plus it turns out to be good in its own right.

MKxcomm - my wife never liked beer til recently. She is beginning to appreciate though. Don't give up...

RE: Beer.
Good - Erdinger, Corona, Oranjeboom, Tiger, Carlsberg
Not Good - (especially especially) Bud, anything with the word "Lite"

I plan to try it - Guinness

An outstanding project in progress, by the Grace of God.

RE: Beer.
MKxcomm--I can't do beer either. I just can't get past the smell. If it doesn't stink, I will try, but beer...just. can't.
