Smile If Disney did a horror movie, might look like this
That is my daughter, trying hard not to look stressed. My granddaughter is the one in yellow! (preen) I will be going to see em next week for the first time in OVER A YEAR. Heart

Victoria's birthday is Sept 11, 2005, so my daughter tries to make her birthdays very happy... since its a day of national mourning. (sigh) Well, SOMEBODY has to be born on 9/11. Undecided

Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush

Cute!

The 9-11 date was taken from us by terrorists. Arrrg. I wish we could just have it back. No one wants to get married on that day or be born on that day.

I can definitely see that it would be a little strange celebrating on a day when people in general are tending toward sober remembrance, but what better way to show the terrorists that they FAILED than to joyfully celebrate a loved one's birthday? To be born on 9/11 is in a way a statement that we will continue to live and grow, enjoying our freedom and loving our families.

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

YES! Smile

My daughter said, in 2005, she was NOT having the baby on that due date! Well, she did. (and that NEVER happens!) I think it actually upset her, being of the younger generation so traumatized by it... she has made *sure* to have a nice birthday party for her every year.

My son in law, major Texan, will be goldurned if any terrorists mess up HIS kid's birthday! LOL

Aside: I hope Texas is done burning when I get there.

PS to Pastor's mom: I have (easily) confirmed we share the same library, and possibly the same zip code. Wink Hey, I'm okay with it if you are!

Edit-- on the other hand, scratch that. *All* the libraries are doing the geek thing, and all of them apparently have KJV geeks signing the thing! LOL who knew? I think they have given them the order to go forth and geek that Bible! ROFL
