Dear sister, I think you have the wrong attitude to this whole business. Look at the disciples crossing the Galilee in that there boat. Do you remember what happened? The Good Word says "the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary." Do you know what their problem was, sister? They were out of the presence of the Lord. He had to come and rescue them, therefore he was not there in the beginning. This is what happens when you are out of the presence of the Lord! These storms will arise in your life and nearly sink your boat, just like with the disciples. The Scripture clearly shows the dangers of being out of the presence of the Lord. Now, earlier you said "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." So clearly, whenever the church is gathered together, Jesus is there. Therefore, if you are going to avoid being out of the presence of the Lord, you should be at church as often as possible.
