The earthquake happened in Virginia which is one of the most conservative and religious states in the US. I guess we just have to work harder.

I hear my IFB pastor say many times (because we live in CA, earthquakes happen all the time) that whenever an earthquake happened in the Bible, it meant that God was speaking, and it was never good. Believing that God treats man the same way He did in the Old Testament is just plain odd. Of course, I can hear an IFB retort, "But God doesn't change!"
