lack of touchy feelness

At my IFB church some of the girls like sneaking up on their friends during shake hands time. This I did not really like. I concentrated a lot on dodging the people whose hands were rough or clammy and dodging these 2 older men who liked telling me I was pretty when they got a chance to shake my hand. So to suddenly have someone sneak up behind me and cover my eyes was unpleasant.

I am generally fine with hugging people, though I am not overly physically affectionate. But in my IFB church I was never okay with hugging guys. Not out of principle, but because it was just so taboo. I mean, you got flak just from talking to guys. Forget hugging them.
