PCC gets a new campus pastor
Mr. McBride, high-school teacher and former youth pastor, has been selected by the Hortons to be their mouthpiece at the Campus Church.
At least the student won't have to keep putting up with Mullenix. Although, apparently, Mullenix's sermons will continue to be the ones put out on Rejoice Broadcast. I know who Mr. McBride is! I took high school via Abeka videos and had him as a teacher a few times. At the time I was drunk on fundy kool-aid, but I kind of liked him. Wonder what I'd think now?

I liked Mr McBride. He was genuinely a nice guy. He'll be a hit with the students...however I wonder how long he'll be able to handle being the Horton's puppet.
But why on earth would they still use Mullenix's sermons? I was never impressed with him. He was kinda boring and just didn't ring true. His emotions didn't seem genuine. |

Dr. Arlin Horton's official announcement to the Campus Church:
For two years, we've sought the Lord as to God's choice of a pastor for the Campus Church. Several pastors came to preach and to see if they would fit that position. In late spring, I heard that Mr. McBride might be available. In talking with him, I learned he had been ordained into the Gospel ministry at a Baptist church in Virginia and had served as youth pastor for seven years before coming to teach in this ministry 25 years ago. Last fall, he told his wife that he believed the Lord was calling him into the pastorate. He has been a favorite Sunday school teacher and has an excellent speaking ability, plus a genuine love for people and a heart for students. He was recently given the opportunity to assume the responsibility of pastoring the Campus Church, and God has now confirmed to him that it is God's direct will for him to accept.
