Women are not "much, much more attractive at 20 than at 30." Thirty year old women are very, very, very attractive and quite often are much sexier than they are at 20. There are also 40 year olds that can hold their own with any 20 year old. I saw a recent picture of 55 year old Gloria Estafan and let's just say I'd hit it two times. The guy acts like smooth skin is the only component of sexiness.

I'm almost 40 ... I am more frequently hit on by men in their 20s than I am men who are older than I am. I've even bit hit on by a guy young enough to be my son. It's incredibly flattering. I can't help but look in the mirror and see crow's feet and saggier boobs, but apparently they see ... well, who knows, lol. I do get attention from older men, but not nearly as often (maybe because more older men are married?). At any rate, I definitely agree that women do not get less attractive as they age, contrary to popular opinion.

RE: Dating for Recovering Fundies
Women in their early 20's are hard to deal with. Most think they are princesses and seem to enjoy making guys jump through hoops. They're hot and usually aren't totally cynical toward men, so can be a lot of fun if a man can put up with the games.

Women in their early 30's are horny and their clock is ticking and they realize they need to quit fooling around. They're probably not going to be too interested in guys younger than them unless that guy is remarkably mature and has a good career.

Women who are around 40 are starting to feel self-conscious about their age. They are open to guys in their 20's because it is flattering to them. They are also open to guys in their early 30's for the same reason.

Probably the best time to be a man is the early 30's because you can pick from all three types. I'm in my mid 30's and if I was just wanting sex I'd go for the 38-45 year old women. They're much more fun to be around when you're not having sex (which is 95% of the time). I want kids and a family so... 20's and 40's are most likely out.

I should add that I'm married, so it's all a moot point, lol. Attention is just that: attention. It's not going anywhere. Smile

My wife is more attractive now than when we started dating around age 21. We both turn 30 this fall. 20 year old girls look like kids.

RE: Dating for Recovering Fundies
Aside from a few guys in their mid to late 20s here and there, I've tended to attract and connect well with guys in their 30s. It's been that way since college.

I'm scared to find out what I'm going to be like when I'm 30. It's bad enough now and I'm only 25!! TongueBig Grin

ETA: Like Senda, I am also attracted to guys in their thirties. They much less likey to play dating games and they generally know what they want in a relationship.

Last Friday night I stepped into a bar and within 20 minutes two different women walked up to me and said "I want to F&#% you!"

I still don't know what they meant.

The is happened outside the bar in question:

"Hey do you have any Scots-Irish in you?"

"No."

"Would you like some?"

So far all it's gotten me is slapped twice. And price negotations three times but that was downtown.

A teacher in our church school used this line on a high school student. Not surprisingly, her parents demanded that he be fired, which he was. It was too bad, cuz he was a good teacher, but probably not appropriate to say to a 15 year old girl.
