That was rich! FOFLMHO. Reminds me of a staff meeting at HAC in 1990 where Hyles asked, "What is rock music? What is Christian rock?" And the debate over that one was priceless with many of the same biblical "evidence" given. Hyles got frustrated and obviously thought the music professors were idiots based on how many times he rolled his eyes. Oh the memories. Thanks for the laugh

This is really so very true! I just love the parts about the drum on the back beat being evil. I heard that so many times. It never made sense to me at all! I also love the other random comments he makes about his "authority" on what music is "good." I loved when evangelists would come to church/school and play samples of rock music (always very outdated samples) for us so we could hear what was meant by the music (not the words) being bad.

My kids enjoyed that. Happily, these younger ones haven't heard this stuff. They thought it was funny!
