Fundys love to mention being "under conviction." Sadly, they ignore the fact that for the Christian there is no condemnation. I regret how many sermons I preached as a fundy missionary to get people to do something by "preaching for conviction." I wish I could go back and change it all. Of course the churches I preached in would never have me back today. I just wish people could understand that it's not at all about our performance but Christ's performance for us!
