Similarity between Fundies and Pop culture
Someone once posted a video of the similarity between one of Ron Hamilton's songs and Gaston's bar song (from the Beauty and the Beast). Others have pointed out the Fundies' antics' similarity to a certain TV show.

Do you have anything to share? Please post youtube videos, pictures and such!

The similarity of those two songs is uncanny. Is he that bad about copying/imitating other people in all his stuff?

Couldn't a similarity such as that bring a copyright suit?

RE: Similarity between Fundies and Pop culture
Hamilton is a terrible copycat. Anyone ever notice how the bad guy mice in "American Time Machine" sound like the Nazis in Hogan's Heroes? Then there is his "Bow the Knee." A different song, different theme, but a song of the same title that came out a couple of years after the song by Chris Machen? Hmmm. My sister, who is a choir director in a moderately fundy church, could give lots more examples.

I walk with bare, hushed feet the ground Ye tread with boldness shod;
I dare not fix with mete and bound The love and power of God. - J.G. Whittier

My husband has always wanted to see Hamilton's recording collection. His PtP song, "Skin" is an almost direct swipe of Allen Sherman's parody song of the same name. (Sherman was parodying "Heart" from "Damn Yankees".)
