What secular music have you discovered you like since leaving fundyland?

Someone else mentioned John Denver. They were the first non-fundy music I experienced, since my mom didn't think to throw away her record collection.
I like a very wide variety of music, and am constantly adding to the list.

i remember the cd burning/breaking stage of fundy camps. had a friend that literally broke all 23 rap cds he brought from home. it was hilarious to see the joy and confusion on the camp workers faces.

i've always been a secret music lover throughout fundydom, listening to everything under a blanket (sometimes literally). now, it isnt a rare thing to hear either adagio from moonlight sonata or first of the year blasting down the street from my car

The Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash, Sigur Ros (Icelandic), Alison Krauss, Runrig (British/Scottish), Jon Foreman, Sun Volt, Trio Mediaeval (Norwegian), Nick Cave, Clannad (Celtic) and Neil Young are some that I can think of off the top of my head. I also adore Arvo Pärt, an Estonian sacred music composer.

Was reading through this thread and saw you mentioned Sigur Ros. I took a girl from my church to see them in concert a few years back when they were here in Detroit. It was a pretty cool show.
