Dear Tiarali,
I saw that and it looked delicious! Was it?

Dear Mom,
I wish you would try to get to know my girlfriend when I bring her to family functions. Maybe she won't think all fundamentalist women are manipulative narcissists. Maybe I won't, either.

You are not special. You are not an individual or unique snowflake. You are the same decomposing matter as everything else in this universe.

There are countless ways to save a recipe you see online other than sharing it on Facebook.

Also, I know that none of you on my newsfeed are making this stuff ever. Who are you trying to impress?

Please, stop already.

Dear Friends,

What amyrose said. You can "share" any recipe and then change the privacy setting (lower right corner of post, probably a people icon if your default setting is "friends only") to "only me" and the posts will show up on your timeline for only you to see, and our news feeds won't get cluttered.

Also, the posts that beg you to "like" them before you "share" them are just using you to increase their ad revenue.

Dear Dad,
"Okay" is not a correct response when one of your kids says "I love you" at the end of a Father's Day phone call.

Dear Red Hot,

I'm sorry he responded that way.

Dear NDTK,

I only saw the picture! I don't know the recipe. It involved roasting lengthwise halves of zucchini topped with tomato and cheese, but apart from that, I don't know. Sorry!

Sincerely,
Naomi

Dear Tia and Naomi,

Thanks! That looks delicious! I see a trip to the farmers market and a go at that recipe in my near future.
