Dear Victoria,

I don't know what pain is behind your letter, but it moved me.

Sincerely,

RE: Dear So and So...
Dear Kroger Cashier,

I'm not sure what conversation was so important that you couldn't stop chatting and laughing with another employee before even beginning to scan my food. I don't appreciate that your conversation continued throughout the entire transaction, that you never greeted me nor said, "Thank you" or "Have a nice day", or that the entirety of your interaction with me consisted of you saying, "$15.95."

I don't think you are the sort of employee that Kroger wants representing them. And I am trying desperately not to notice that you and your bff who couldn't be bothered to even look at me, the customer, were of a different race than I and hoping that your ignorance was a personal character flaw and not racially motivated.

Dear Pastor's Wife,

If you have an Aldi's in your area, try it. The prices are rock bottom and while the staff isn't uber friendly, they are considerate of their customers.

Dear PW,

At least he(?) didn't try to force a Target card on you like the Target cashier did to me today. I think Kroger's and Target need to switch employees.

Hoping you get a more friendly cashier next time,
JM

Dear Mr. NDTK,

Thanks for letting me be a girl and have an ugly cry last night. Sending our "baby" off to full day school hit me harder than I ever expected. Please continue to be patient with me as I adjust to this new season of being a mom. I'll get there, just not sure what it looks like on this first day.

Love,

Me

Dear Laura,

Dittos on Aldi. My hubby and I used to shop there when we lived in WI and we wish we had them in VA.

Mom.

Dear PW et al.

Another Aldi's shopper here. It's the best place to buy all your basics and they have great cheese!

Dear Soul,

Why are you so cast down and why are you disquieted within me?

Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Discouraged and tired of being discouraged,
