I think the biggest problem with Wikipedia is the over desire to be balanced. It is a very good thing to present all aspects of a discussion, but there are times when the evidence is fairly dominant on one side and light on others. This happens, generally, for a reason, namely, because there is a consesnsus among experts about which "side" is accurate. There are always outliers, but when the experts agree, that should be mentioned as the dominant perspective. Textual criticism and sourcing for Biblical documents is a great example of this.
