Oh man, I missed so many movies growing up too. I've tried to rectify that lately, but I still haven't gotten around to watching Top Gun, for some reason.

Luckily my parents weren't totally anti-movie, just generally would only let us watch G-rated stuff, so I got to see all of the Disney and Pixar movies as a kid. Mulan remains one of my favorites, even if it is, you know, blasphemous/heretical/devil-worshiping because the ancestors show up. Also because a woman saves the day. Big Grin

I don't have any kids but I take any opportunity I can get to expose my 15 year old nephew to the wonders of 80's movies. We've seen the Indiana Jones movies, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Masters of the Universe, and Big Trouble in Little China, among others. Thanks to Netflix, I've also introduced him to the show "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". I remember back in the day thinking that show was awesome but now seeing it... wow.... so cheesy.
The fact that the Sun is maize and the sky is blue is neither in our control, nor is something we fraudulently contrived. It just shows that God has excellent taste in colors.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Rudy

I would add one more:

Jaws
Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.
