Yeah, he totally does. Slightly less rat-like, but still ... blech.

As for those who said their IFB churches didn't preach confrontation, mine did all the time. We were always supposed to go to the person who had offended us and tell them what they did and why they should apologize. Had this done to me several times, sometimes even during the Communion service b/c a friend was scared that we'd both get sick and die if we took communion "in an unworthy manner."

Interestingly enough, though, the few times I decided an offense was actually big enough for me to go confront someone, that person (the admin's wife, of course) refused to apologize. Flat out told me, "I hope you're not expecting an apology, because you're not getting one." I then figured that confrontation was only allowed if a big-wig was offended by a peon, but not the other way around. Maybe that's where this "forgive and forget and don't ever bring it up" stuff comes in.

Someone with mad computer skillz has GOT to put Phelps's pic and Wormtail's pic side by side!

@Jenni, that situation sounds like it fits on the "Conflicting Requirements" thread: telling people to do something and then when you do it, refusing to respond correctly. Sad

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

Very nice, Beowulf! Big Grin

Thank you, thank you. It's easy when your subject has shifty eyes.
