NCIS and NCISLA

RE: NCIS and NCISLA
I'm giving up NCIS on my DVR to allow space for new shows. It's grown stale to me the past few years. Besides, I can pick up the reruns during the summer, like I did for Blue Bloods.

LA is still interesting to me, but someone tell me how they can get across town in 20 minutes????

Warp field technology powered by suspension of disbelief. Dodgy

I like NCIS, especially Tony, Ziva and McGee. Haven't watched a whole lot of NCISLA but thought it was ok. I should dig out those recordings of the first season or so and catch up again. Recently snagged NCIS S7 on DVD when it was on sale at Target for $20 (my general purchase limit on TV seasons). I want to pick up the rest of them over time.

Every time I see this I think NICS or NCIC.

NCIS is great, I am so in lust with Mark Harmon.Wink Of course NCISLA has some serious eye candy as well (Chris and LL are both pure visual Godiva!).Heart

Some people get cool hallucinations that tell them to kill people. Mine just try to get me into trouble.

I'm just doing my part to prevent you from breaking down my family unit. Big Grin

RE: NCIS and NCISLA
Okay. I think that NCISLA has officially jumped the shark.

Spoiler:
This last ep was all "look how these brave SEALs go in to rescue the journalists even though they might be running into a trap". Why, oh, why couldn't they have just fessed up to G in the first place and let NCIS do its job, thus ensuring they got there early enough to catch the guy who had the intel? Just because he wasn't military? This "brotherhood of silence" just bugs me. True, I'm not military either, but it seemed like there was a lot of "we're going to excuse them and close the case because they're really good, self-sacrificial guys". And Hettie? She acted like she had never seen this before. A woman that old with so many varied experiences? With Sam just looking down at her with a beneficent expression. Ugh.

Traitor or no, there were better ways of handling the situation than confronting/fighting/knifing/killing/trying to destroy the body.

I think I'm going to put in my earphones and listen to some music next Tuesday -- even though it looks to be a re-run.

Whenever I see the title of this TV show I always think of National Instant Check System...

The Season finales of both shows were good.
