I thought the original was gawdawful. I can't recall anything in the first one being actually funny. Had some stuff that was smile-able, but I didn't see the humor. I'm like 80/20 on "raunchy comedy", some of them are funny (Wedding Crashers), most aren't funny.

I liked both the first and second one, but I'm a fan of dumb humor. My favorite actor may have been the little monkey.
